We’ll depart early for southern Portugal, enjoying beautiful landscapes as we cross the long bridge over the Tagus River. There will be time for lunch. In the afternoon, we´ll travel to the westernmost point of continental Europe amidst windswept cliffs to discover Cape St. Vincent. Nearby, we´ll have the opportunity to photograph the historic Sagres fortress. Day 3
We’ll travel to Faro, the peaceful capital of the Algarve, for a leisurely stroll. From there, we’ll continue our journey into the Alentejo region. This town, with its impressive castle, invites us to wander through the streets lined with whitewashed houses and historical corners. Next, we’ll stop in Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where you’ll have time to explore its medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, and ancient Roman temple.
