7-Day Tour to Morocco, Imperial Cities roundtrip from Costa del Sol

Depart along the Costa del Sol tourist route and arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. Arrive in Tangier, disembark, go through customs, and depart by coach to Meknes. Brief stop and continue to Fez. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, visit the oldest and most monumental of the Imperial Cities, visiting the most interesting places: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter or Mellah, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate and a walk through its magnificent Medina or ancient city, declared a World Heritage Site. Breakfast and early departure towards Rabat, diplomatic and administrative capital. Visit the most emblematic places of this city such as the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca to visit the most interesting places, such as the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche and the exteriors of the Hassan II mosque. Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the city, known as the 'Pearl of the South,' starting with the grand Menara Gardens, which features a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Next, visit the exterior of the Koutoubia Minaret, the twin sister of Seville’s Giralda. Once in the old part of the city, tour of the Bahia Palace, once owned by a city noble. Finally, explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of Morocco’s most interesting places, from where you can access the souks and the medina. Visit some artisan guilds: woodworkers, potters, leatherworkers, spice merchants, and more. Lunch at the hotel and depart for Casablanca. Arrival, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel departure to Tangier. Transfer to the pier to board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive towards the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at your hotel in Costa del Sol.
