Day 1: Athens

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Transfer you to the hotel and free time. You will receive information in the afternoon, either directly or through the information board located at the hotel reception.


Day 2: Athens - Mykonos

Full-day Mediterranean CruiseAfter breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the Lavrio Port for an 11:00 a.m. departure. Enjoy the scenic sea views as we sail.06:00 p.m. – Arrival in Mykonos. You’ll have free time to explore this charming island, famous for its windmills and whitewashed houses by the sea.11:00 p.m. – Departure from Mykonos. Overnight on board.


Day 3: Mykonos - Kusadasi - Patmos

Mediterranean Cruise Day07:00 a.m. – Kusadasi (Turkey). On the Turkish coast, you’ll experience a special vibe, and can go for a stroll or shop in the bazaars.12:00 p.m. – Departure from Kusadasi. We’ll head towards Patmos. 04:00 p.m. – Patmos. This is the island where the St. John the Apostle wrote the Apocalypse; you can wander through this serene atmosphere of white houses and monasteries.09:00 p.m. – Departure from Patmos. We’ll spend the night on board. Shall we dance in the nightclub?


Day 4: Patmos - Heraklion - Santorini - Athens

Mediterranean Cruise DayYou’ll spend some time in Heraklion, the lively capital of Crete and the cradle of the great Minoan civilization. Second stop, Santorini, the dreamlike Greek island known for its ravines and iconic blue and white villages. Overnight on board.


Day 5: Athens

We’ll arrive in Athens early in the morning and start with a panoramic tour. Highlights include the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the National Library, the bustling downtown plazas, and the new facilities developed for the 2004 Olympic Games. We’ll finish the tour at the Acropolis (admission not included).


Day 6: Athens - Kamena Vourla - Kalambaka

We’ll depart early in the morning towards northern Greece, stopping at Kamena Vourla, a charming seaside tourist hub surrounded by stunning landscapes. We´ll then proceed north, stopping at the Thermopylae Mountain Pass, the historic site of the famous battle. Next, we´ll visit Kastraki, a picturesque village with beautiful views of the entire valley, where you´ll have free time for lunch. Afterward, we´ll explore the Meteora, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admission to one of its renowned monasteries is included. Dinner will be provided in Kalabaka.


Day 7: Kalambaka - Delphi - Athens

We’ll journey south through the Thessaly region, where you’ll experience stunning landscapes, before reaching Delphi. Here, we´ll explore the exquisite archaeological site overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, with breathtaking views. There will be time for lunch. Following that, we´ll head to the Hosios Loukas Monastery, renowned as one of the most beautiful Byzantine monasteries in Greece and a World Heritage Site. Its magnificent 11th-century mosaics are truly remarkable. We´ll then continue our journey towards Athens, arriving in the evening.


Day 8: Athens - Corinth - Poros - Epidaurus - Nafplio

After breakfast, we set out for the PELOPONNESE PENINSULA, renowned for its history, landscapes, picturesque towns, and archaeological sites. We make a brief stop at the CORINTH CANAL, which links the Aegean Sea with the Ionian and is famous for its impressive rock walls.Next, we visit one of the most charming islands near the Peloponnese. From the small port of Galatas, we take a ferry that brings us in just 15 minutes to the island of Poros, a delightful destination full of tourist life, with old houses climbing up to the Clock Tower. Free time to stroll and have lunch.After lunch, we return to the mainland and travel through beautiful hilly landscapes to the ancient Theater of Epidaurus (admission included), where we’ll have time to explore this magnificently preserved structure. Built 2,400 years ago, with a capacity of up to 14,000 spectators, it is still in use today.We then continue on to NAFPLIO, a charming coastal city dominated by its citadel and Venetian fortress. Free time to stroll. Dinner included.


Day 9: Nafplio - Tripoli - Olympia - Patras

We´ll journey across the mountains of the Peloponnese hinterland to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region. There will be free time to explore Areos Square with its cafes and restaurants. Afterward, we´ll continue to Olympia, where we´ll visit the Archaeological Site (ticket and guided tour included). This is where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 BC, attracting athletes from across Greece and its colonies. The most impressive landmarks here include the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, the Gymnasium, and the Arena. Our next destination will be Patras, Greece’s third-largest city. It´s a bustling port city overlooked by a medieval fortress, home to Greece´s largest cathedral, a significant pilgrimage site, along with the nearby old church of St. Andrew. Dinner will be included.


Day 10: Patras - Nafpaktos - Mycenae - ACROCORINTH - Athens

After breakfast, we’ll cross the Rio-Antirrio bridge, a spectacular cable-stayed bridge that connects the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland. Our first stop is Nafpaktos, located on the Gulf of Corinth. Its Venetian fortress overlooking the city is a reminder of its historical significance as Lepanto, where the Christian and Turkish fleets clashed in battle—a conflict during which the famous Cervantes lost his arm. You’ll have free time to stroll around its picturesque harbor and explore the beautiful old town. Continuing along the Gulf of Corinth, we’ll reach Mycenae, a colossal citadel dating back to the 18th century BC, considered the cradle of European civilization (admission included). Enjoy free time for lunch and to explore the site. Next, we’ll visit the imposing Fortress of Acrocorinth (tickets included), where the remains of an ancient temple of Aphrodite stand on the highest point of the settlement. We’ll then continue our journey, making a brief stop at the Corinth Canal. We’ll arrive in Athens in the evening.


Day 11: Athens

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
