Day 1: Lisbon
Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Transfer you to the hotel and free time. You will receive information in the afternoon, either directly or through the information board located at the hotel reception.
Day 2: Lisbon - Fátima - Porto
We’ll travel to the north of Portugal, where we’ll visit Fátima, an important pilgrimage site. We’ll then continue to Porto, the country’s second-largest city. After lunch, we’ll enjoy a 50-minute cruise along the Douro River aboard a traditional Portuguese "Rabelo" boat, offering a unique perspective of the city’s beautiful riverside. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to explore the lively medieval Ribeira district, known for its narrow streets lined with historic merchant houses and charming cafés, before heading to the hotel.
Day 3: Porto - Braga - Bom Jesus - Guimarães - Aveiro - Coimbra
Today we will enjoy beautiful landscapes in northern Portugal. We begin with a stroll through BRAGA, the religious capital of PORTUGAL, with its ancient cathedral. We will take the world’s oldest funicular up to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, with its magnificent views. We suggest walking down to admire its stunning baroque stairway.Next, we continue to GUIMARÃES, the first capital of Portugal, where the Palace of the Dukes still recalls its historic importance. Free time for lunch.Our journey then takes us west to the Atlantic coast and to AVEIRO, the “Venice of Portugal,” known for its colorful houses. Here, we include a ride on a traditional Moliceiro boat to explore its canals and salt flats, and aboard we taste a typical local sweet.We continue to COIMBRA, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 4: Coimbra - Batalha - Nazaré - Óbidos - Lisbon
We´ll spend time in Coimbra, the third largest city in Portugal known for its old University and charming, steep streets. Continuing southward, we´ll stop at the Batalha Monastery (entrance fee included), an impressive medieval mausoleum of kings. There will be time for lunch and a stroll in Nazaré, a town of fishermen and a seaside resort. We´ll take the elevator that ascends to the old city (tickets included), offering impressive views of the ocean. As we travel towards Lisbon, we´ll make a stop in Óbidos, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal, with its picturesque white streets adorned with flowers. We´ll arrive in Lisbon at approximately 07:30 p.m.
Day 5: Lisbon
In the morning, we´ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, exploring the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. We’ll also visit the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators set sail to cross the oceans in the 15th century. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you’d like to, you could take an optional trip to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square, filled with vibrant bars and cafes.
Day 6: Lisbon - Lagos - Cape St. Vincent - Albufeira
We’ll depart early for southern Portugal, enjoying beautiful landscapes as we cross the long bridge over the Tagus River. Upon arrival in the Algarve, the southern region of Portugal, we´ll explore the historic city of Lagos, known for its strategic port from where Portuguese vessels departed to Africa, and its charming historic center enclosed by ancient walls. There will be time for lunch. In the afternoon, we´ll travel to the westernmost point of continental Europe amidst windswept cliffs to discover Cape St. Vincent. Nearby, we´ll have the opportunity to photograph the historic Sagres fortress. Later, we´ll spend time in Albufeira, a stunning coastal city where you can relax on its beaches or wander through its lively historic center. Accommodation will be provided in Albufeira or a neighboring city in the Algarve.
Day 7: Albufeira - Mértola - Évora - Lisbon
We’ll travel to Faro, the peaceful capital of the Algarve, for a leisurely stroll. From there, we’ll continue our journey into the Alentejo region. On the banks of the Guadiana River, we’ll visit Mértola, a walled town-museum that was an important center during the Muslim era. This town, with its impressive castle, invites us to wander through the streets lined with whitewashed houses and historical corners. Next, we’ll stop in Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where you’ll have time to explore its medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, and ancient Roman temple. We´ll visit the Chapel of Bones, built with over 5,000 skeletons (admission included). We’ll then continue to Lisbon, arriving at the end of the day.
Day 8: Lisbon
Free day to explore. A day to enjoy the moment, discover new landscapes, and let every corner reveal its own story and beauty in peace.
